  • Can I use the Free plan as part of a commercial offering or website?
  • The Free plan cannot be used as part of this and is limited in its use. IPdon reserves the right to suspend your use in your origin if this term is violated. We recommend a commercial plan in case you would like to embed or use the service as part of your offering.
  • How do I ensure I don't tread beyond the limits of my plan?
  • The Free plan is limited but a commercial plan allows you tread beyond defined limits. This also helps avoiding downtime. We will send weekly statistic reports about the APIs usage and you can see a realtime view of API usage in the dashboard. This should help you with the means to adjust plans or usage if needed. We will charge an additional $5 per 10.000 calls made beyond the quota defined in your (monthly) plan.

  • How is my privacy protected?
  • Our API provides accurate IP address information, including a latitude/longitude coordinate position of the last known or approximated location. These coordinates point to a postal code center or city center, but never to the exact location of an individual. We do not track that and we respect your privacy, nor will we ever sell or disclose such information.
  • Where can I receive an invoice?
  • Via the dashboard you can access the Billing portal that displays your past invoices immediately after making a payment.
  • If I change my plan, will it change the API key?
  • No we work to minimize work on your side - if you change your subscription plan, the API key will remain the same so you don't need to make any adjustments downstream.
